From Nicole: Awesome game tonight! Our Rabbitohs deserved the Man of Steel jersey they were wearing tonight in their game vs Canberra Raiders, scoring 6 tries.. They easily dominated the whole game in spite of Raiders taking the lead after getting a penalty in the first minutes, leading 2-0. Canberra Raiders never scored again. 3 Bunnies tries in the first half starting with Sam Burgess followed just a few mn later by Hunt scoring, thanks to a lovely work of the whole team; then it was Issac Luke turn. It was 16-2 at half time but it wasn't the end. In the second half, at the 60mn, Nathan Merritt scored a lovely try that made us very happy after the nasty words that were said & written regarding his performance in SOO. Issac scored a second time tonight then Walker. Brilliant work from the boys in spite of the rain. Chris McQueen excepted the Rabbitohs players who played SOO on wednesday played tonight as well and Greg Inglis was brilliant as usual. Our Men of Steel beat Canberra Raiders 32-2 and won their 50th game at ANZ stadium tonight! Gory Glory to South Sydney. What a team! Proud of them, proud to be a member! --- Also sent from CGee: Souths took on Canberra tonight and even in wet conditions they methodically went about their business, with six great trys, including Nathan Merritt. Each week the confidence they have in each other keeps translating to solid on field performances. South Sydney defeats the Canberra Raiders 32-2. I'll never get tired of saying 'Souths win again'!
